CELLWAVE® IN ACTION

In this demonstration, MCF-7 cells are separated from whole blood using CellWave®.

MCF-7 cells were fluorescently labelled and mixed with whole blood prior to sorting. Detection of the fluorescence signal triggers a sub-ms pulse of the highly focused acoustic wave to gently push the detected cell across the channel.

Sorted MCF-7 cells flow to the top branch of the channel and the remaining whole blood flows to the lower branch.

Cell Sorting Technology

User Friendly Technology

Our CellWave technology is designed with researchers in mind, offering an intuitive and accessible approach to cell sorting that doesn't compromise on precision or reliability.

The system features a compact benchtop design that requires no external fluidic setup, making it perfect for any laboratory environment. Our patented microfluidic cartridge ensures disposable, contamination-free operation.

With built-in sample and buffer reservoirs, researchers can focus on their science rather than complex setup procedures, while maintaining the highest standards of sorting precision and cell viability.

Example Workflow

CellWave technology seamlessly integrates into your existing laboratory workflow, providing a complete solution from sample preparation to high-quality single-cell analysis.

Starting with low-quality samples that typically have less than 70% viability, our dead cell removal process using CellWave sorter significantly improves sample quality to over 70% viability.

The enhanced samples are then perfectly suited for downstream applications like high-throughput single-cell sequencing, ensuring more reliable and accurate results for your research.
